This book is about a boy named Eragon who finds a stone in the forest. At least he thinks it’s a stone. It takes place in a land called Alagaesia (Al-uh-gay-zee-uh). When this mysterious stone hatches into a baby dragon, Eragon’s life changes forever. When Eragon becomes a legendary dragon rider he has to leave his home town Carvahall (Car-vuh-hall) to retrieve two dragon eggs. This story is about Eragons adventures and thrills as he travels with his dragon. At the end of this book Eragon and his dragon travel far and reach a special place but to find that place you have to read the book. If you do read this book make sure to read Eldest, Brinsinger and Inheritence.
I think that this was a fabulous book because of all the battles, magic, excitement and the plot it was just such a great book. I really liked the part when Eragon, his dragon and his friend Murtagh travel to the secret place and these giant monsters called kull follow them and Eragon and his friends have to Battle the Kull. I didn’t really like the part when Murtagh and two other people got threw down a pit . I loved this book. If you love fantasy and adventure this book is for you. Because this book is so awesome I would give it 9.5 out of 10.
